BBQ like you mean it: No need for a special occasion to savor delicious Paso Robles wine. In Paso Robles Wine Country, we’re proud of our unstuffy ways. When it comes to food, we’re passionate, but never snooty. In fact, we encourage popping a bottle of classic Paso red to pair with your next backyard summer barbecue. Producers of sumptuous primativo and cabernet sauvignon, Oso Libre is ground zero for estate-raised beef (take a few cuts home as a meaty souvenir). Just visit the scenic Paso Robles tasting room and chew the fat with the friendly folks at the bar! That’s right—a herd of Angus cattle grazing alongside Oso Libre’s lush estate vineyard, dining on acres of rolling green pasture. Talk about happy cows. You’re sure to leave happy, too.

BYOP: Love bringing your favorite chips and salsa or famous chicken salad to the party? No need to worry if this is a faux paux—you can totally bring your own picnic to plenty of Paso wineries. In fact, many encourage it. There’s nothing like a sunny, Paso Robles Wine Country meal shared under a shady oak or umbrella.
