Are you looking for the cool and hip wineries that have the newest and greatest in style and creativity? Well we have your trail all mapped out and the wineries that have shown that they are definitely in that category. Looking at Paso Robles Wineries cool and hip wine trail we have ten total on the list that you can explore, taste and discover. We will cover the first five in this part one of the series so you can see why they are worth visiting.
1. Lone Madrone

Lone Madrone is one of those wineries that you just don’t forget. The entry brings you into a modern and clean tasting room that has a bar on both sides with new construction and gorgeous views of Adelaide country. The wines are spectacular and you have the choice of many varietals made by the “Winemaker of the Year”. The staff is friendly and some of the wines are tasted a bit differently, like one of their red Zinfandels served chilled, or the Bristols hard cider tastings. Overall this place is worth the short drive from downtown Paso to start your trail off with a bang.
2. Le Cuvier

Le Cuvier is one of those quirky wineries that is eclectic enough to be cool and hip. They have exceptional chef prepared food pairings with their wines and you get to try options such as Rose’, Viognier, Cuvee’, Pinot and many more. The food pairings are not your average cheese and nuts but deliciously made morsels that create synergy and excitement to the palate and show you how the wine changes after you taste it with the food. Beautiful views and a relaxing environment make this place a great place to chill out.
3. Chronic Cellars

Chronic Cellars is not only adorned with rad artwork but offers bold and tasty wines cleverly named and easy on the palate. The very kick-back environment is located near the entrance to the Adelaide and looks like a cottage from mid-evil times. There is a pool table inside and comfortable surroundings with a friendly, down-to-earth staff. The colors inside are vibrant like their electric labels and you can find a great wine with fantastic table appeal which is great as a gift or a dinner party. Definitely…cool and hip.
4. Bodegas Paso Robles

Bodegas is known for its Spanish and Portuguese varietals and blends most of its wine with Tempranillo. The variety of reds, whites and rose’ offers a great offering for the palate and their tasting room is right downtown where you can visit art galleries, restaurants, boutiques and more. They are on 13th street right around the corner from one of our favorite restaurants Thomas Hill Organics. The label on Bodegas is simple, artistic and classy and there is a great vibe in the tasting room.
5. Paso Underground
Directions and Info: www.geo.to/PasoUnderground (Downtown Paso Robles)
Paso Underground is a tasting room in downtown Paso Robles where there are four wineries being represented; Clos Solene, Aaron Wines, Edmond August and Westberg Cellars/Turtle Rock Vineyards. The comfortable and intimate setting gives the taster the opportunity to taste small boutique wines and get many options in one place. The tasting room is open, bold and modern with the classic Paso Robles charm.
