Cass Winery’s 2019 Mr. Blanc is a stunning, charming white you simply must invite dinner. A dreamy Rhone blend with a creamy, citrus nose, medium acidity and round mouthfeel bolstered by vanilla and honeysuckle yumminess, he’s quite substantial (and pairs incredibly well with pasta, seafood, duck and cheese plates galore). We’ll let you in on a little secret: only 80 cases of this gentleman were ever produced, so don’t miss your chance to say you met the legend yourself! 2. A modern classic
Has Écluse crafted the most satisfying chardonnay under the Paso Robles sun? Perhaps! If you live for a whiff of that traditional French oak yet don’t mind a bit of modern edge, this wine is for you my friend. Aged in both barrel and stainless steel, Écluse’s 2017 Chardonnay straddles the line between creamy and crisp. That’s right—you don’t have to choose a side! With fruit sourced from some of the most desirable vineyards on the Central Coast, you’ll experience terroir and timeless taste all in one ready-to-sip bottle.

3. Do not disturb
Cleanse the body, cleanse the mind. Brecon Estate’s 2019 Viognier is a palate cleanser for the soul, to be sure. Balanced, varietally correct and a more than a little tropical, this fetching Rhone white is a quintessential example of laid back coastal class. Easy to drink (and even easier to finish) you’ll find each swirl as calming as a bouquet of flowers strewn about your bath, No occasion? No worries! 4. Pinkies up
Some wines are made for years in a cellar and a grand occasion. This wine? Not so much! Chronic Cellars 2019 Kindly Swallows was crafted for unpredictable moments of laughter and off-the-cuff discovery. With lush notes of juicy watermelon, zesty green apple, raspberry and Eucalyptus, this 100% grenache rose is one swallow that’ll get you smiling from each to ear. Pinkie swear!

5. Now is (always) better
Ahi tacos with mango salsa on the menu? Crack open a refreshing white ready to cool off that jalapeño bite. Known for meticulously sourcing the very best fruit for each batch, Lone Madrone has a reputation for creating unique, one-of-a-kind bottles that surprise and delight. The winery’s 2018 Oveja, a grenache blanc/picpoul blanc blend, is the essence of this mission. Sure, you could age this one till 2025 (according to the winemaker). But let’s get real. We both know you won’t! (Bonus: This beauty scored 93 points with Vinous!)
