Diablo Paso 2019 Tempranillo
Aim to please: Some wines just know what they’re doing. Blessed with silky smooth tannins too beguiling to ignore, this bottle is a real Romeo. So, how exactly did Diablo Paso manage to bring forth this perfect specimen? Paso’s wild daily swings in temperature have contributed to the magic (a 22-month bath in American Oak barrels didn’t hurt either). A unique combination of Old and New World techniques have lent this dark red offering a full nose of ripened fruit, dry fruits, leather and tobacco. Plus, notes of chocolate and a round, sumptuous mouthfeel keep us coming back for more. It’s true: Some wines are more swoon-worthy than others!
