1. The Canyon Villa

Paso Robles Wineries Best Bed and Breakfast Inns

Directions & Information: www.thecanyonvilla.com

The Canyon Villa is a Tuscan style luxurious getaway where you feel truly pampered.  This is an upscale Bed and Breakfast and has four beautiful suites with two person spa tubs, gas fireplaces in each room, private balconies or patios, pristine products and very cozy beds.  My favorite is the “Siena” room which has a private balcony overlooking the vineyards, beautiful decor and a king-sized bed nuzzled next to the fireplace.  You are close to all of Paso wine country, Hearst Castle and other fun activities in the area and every morning you are served a gourmet breakfast with your dietary needs met.  They are always healthy, have fresh local ingredients and can be served outside in their courtyard or at the dining room.  As a bonus they serve local wines and appetizers between 5pm-6pm which about when wineries are closed and perfect to start off the night before a fantastic dinner in downtown Paso.  There are no pets allowed, smoking or children under 16 years old.

2. The Inn at Croad Vineyard

Paso Robles Wineries Best Bed and Breakfast Inns

Directions & Information: www.croadvineyards.com

The Inn at Croad Vineyards is a Spanish style villa where New Zealand is the theme in this eclectic but beautiful place.  There are three suites that look out to breathtaking views along the Paso wine country ridge.  There is a large room called the “Aroha” and two smaller rooms, “Taranaki” and “Ariki” that have access to a private balcony where you can further take in the view and relax.  The rooms have private bathrooms with walk in showers and unique decor.  You get environmentally friendly New Zealand products and are greeted with a bottle of Croad Estate wine in your room.  There is a continental breakfast of self-serve items in the gathering room, complimentary glass of wine and appetizers in the evening and wine tasting for two.  All of the beds are King-sized but there are no pets or children under 21 allowed and no smoking.

3. Sundance Bed & Breakfast

Paso Robles Wineries Best Bed and Breakfast Inns

Directions & Information: www.sundancebandb.com

Let’s start off with the three course breakfast made for you by a Cordon Bleu chef!  The breakfast isn’t the only dining option at The Sundance; they also have evening wine tasting and appetizers or you can purchase the private dinner option where you get a full course meal and dessert with the additional option of wine pairing with each course.  A part from the exquisite food, The Sundance offers 3 suite options with a split fourth room additional option.  The rooms are beautiful and each have themes with different choices of beds, amenities and options depending on the intent of your stay.  Our favorite room is the “La Dolce Vita” which has a California King- sized bed, a hand tufted headboard, gorgeous vineyard views and a large spa bathtub for two.  There is a family or large group option with two rooms that join that fit up to 5 guests and another smaller room with a queen sized bed, all with private bathrooms and great views!  No pets or smoking is allowed but children are welcome.

4. Belvino Viaggio Bed & Breakfast

Directions & Information: www.belvinoviaggo.com

Belvino Viaggo is a step in the middle of being a homey B&B and a small luxurious hotel.  You have the comfort of knowing you will have an organic, delicious breakfast in the morning but with seven rooms you will be eating what is on the menu opposed to a more custom and intimate experience.  The rooms all have themes from different countries and are beautifully decorated.  There are four king-sized beds and three queen-sized beds with rooms that are handicap accessible.  Our favorite is the “Italy” which has a king-sized bed, a lush couch for seating, a two way fireplace and a large spa tub that faces the fire so you can sip wine in bubbles while being warmed by the romantic flames…oh la la.  There are about four other rooms with fireplaces, views of the vineyards and options for tubs or walk in showers.  The breakfast is served either in the dining room or out on the loggia that also has a fireplace.  There is no smoking, no pets, no kids under 16 years old and no candles in the room…they offer battery operated ones for your ambiance.  They are Eco-friendly and offer packages and specials on a regular basis.  If you are looking for awesome electronics and wide screened TV’s, this is not the place for you, they are more focused on relaxation, comfort and getting away from it all!

5. High Ridge Manor

Paso Robles Wineries Best Bed and Breakfast Inns

Directions & Information : www.highridgemanor.com

High Ridge Manor is one of the only B&B’s where you can use their beautiful pool!  There are fountains pouring out over it and a hot tub adjacent to the swimming area.  The grounds are gorgeous with outer decks and patios and fantastic views of wine country all around the property.  There are three suites with deep whirlpool tubs right in your room, private entrances and patios, a walk in shower, king-sized feather beds and fireplaces.  The decor is elegant and old-world European with silky linens and elegant seating.  The breakfast is a two course chef made meal with attention to guest allergies and preference served on the outer deck over looking the rolling hills of Paso Robles.  There are no kids and no pets allowed with a two person maximum per room.
