Cass Winery’s 2019 Mr. Blanc is a stunning, charming white you simply must invite dinner. A dreamy Rhone blend with a creamy, citrus nose, medium acidity and round mouthfeel bolstered by vanilla and honeysuckle yumminess, he’s quite substantial (and pairs incredibly well with pasta, seafood, duck and cheese plates galore). We’ll let you in on a little secret: only 80 cases of this gentleman were ever produced, so don’t miss your chance to say you met the legend yourself! 4. Pinkies up
Some wines are made for years in a cellar and a grand occasion. This wine? Not so much! Chronic Cellars 2019 Kindly Swallows was crafted for unpredictable moments of laughter and off-the-cuff discovery. With lush notes of juicy watermelon, zesty green apple, raspberry and Eucalyptus, this 100% grenache rose is one swallow that’ll get you smiling from each to ear. Pinkie swear!

5. Now is (always) better
Ahi tacos with mango salsa on the menu? Crack open a refreshing white ready to cool off that jalapeño bite. Known for meticulously sourcing the very best fruit for each batch, Lone Madrone has a reputation for creating unique, one-of-a-kind bottles that surprise and delight. The winery’s 2018 Oveja, a grenache blanc/picpoul blanc blend, is the essence of this mission. Sure, you could age this one till 2025 (according to the winemaker). But let’s get real. We both know you won’t! (Bonus: This beauty scored 93 points with Vinous!)
