Rangeland Wines are grown in the limestone hills at the far western frontier of the Paso Robles appellation. Just 12 miles from the ocean at 1700 feet of elevation, our Adelaida Springs Ranch estate vineyard is set in a natural tapestry of rolling oak woodlands, abundant wildlife and grazing livestock.
Everything we offer is grown right here. We like to say that our wines are “field crafted,” which means our fruit is carefully grown and vinified naturally to achieve the fullest expression of our coastal mountain terroir. Rangeland is a family-owned business and we all make a contribution; we are each committed to creating wine and food that reflect the natural beauty and bounty of our ranch.
We are excited to now have a tasting room in downtown Templeton, open Thursday-Saturday 11-5, Sunday 11-3. We serve estate grass-fed beef sliders, nachos, and quesadillas Friday-Saturday 12-4. Our tasting room and outdoor patio are surrounded by the Nature’s Touch nursery, and the perfect setting to enjoy wine tasting and lunch!
The $10 per person tasting fee includes at least 5 wines and the fee is waived if you purchase a minimum of one bottle of wine. You can expect great conversation and discuss the history of the ranch and vineyard, as well as our wine growing practices, local conditions and their influence on Rangeland Wines. Tastings are free for wine and beef/lamb club members.
