Paso Robles is a vast wine region, encompassing 11 AVAs, each with its unique terroir, climate, and winemaking style. Let’s explore the two main areas – the mountainous westside districts and the inland eastside districts:

Mountainous (westside) Districts

These districts are characterized by hilly terrains, cooler climates, and diverse soils, producing wines with complexity and character.

Adelaida

Known for its calcareous soils and cooling marine influence, Adelaida is home to a variety of wineries producing exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and Rhône-style wines.
