In less than two weeks Harvest Wine Weekend will be upon us! All of the winemakers and wineries are busy, busy, busy picking fruit, crushing grapes and processing their harvest to get you your delicious Paso Robles wines for the upcoming years ahead! They are also working MAGIC to also plan fun events, music, food and fun while knee deep in their harvest….so Harvest Wine Weekend is truly a celebration of the workers, the vintners, the staff and the winery dog that gets no love right now while they are so dang busy. It is one of the biggest events of the year for Paso Robles wine country and we are excited to have you! So moving on with our series, here is the next fun winery event we are excited about, places to stay and a fun California activity to add to your holiday weekend!
Peachy Canyon
Located off of Highway 46 West
Directions and Info: geo.to/PeachyCanyonWinery
Peachy Canyon winery has a very homey feel to it as you pull up and the white tasting room house sits waiting for you to come inside. The bar is long and leads to a boutique of fun wine gifts and beautiful things to remind you of your trip, as well as a back door that goes out to the beautiful grass area covered in big oaks. The picnic tables speckle the park like setting and a large, white gazebo stands gracefully reminding you to sit down and relax and enjoy the beauty. The vineyards surround the property and it is conveniently located right off of Highway 46 West near hundreds of other great places to go! In our last post we mentioned the great band that will be playing here so check out their event schedule!

Hearst Castle
Tours & Events
We had to put Hearst Castle on the list since it is one of the biggest tourist attractions on the Central Coast. The history, the grandeur, the beauty and the details that surrounded the life and legacy of the property are great for people of all ages! There are wine dinners hosted at Hearst many times throughout the year, there are tours during the day and in the fall-winter months there are night tours with character actors milling about making you feel like you have traveled back in time to the prime of it’s life in the 1930’s! There are cottages, pools, special suites, gardens, artwork, antiques, a wine cellar, kitchen and so many more places to go! There are several different tours available and bus transportation is available for traveling up to the castle and back from the visitor’s center. There are accessibility tours available as well for those that have a hard time walking and the tours are family friendly!
