Indulge on your trip to wine country with an intimate epicurean experience that feels like stepping into a little slice of Italy. Pelletiere Estate’s proprietor Janis Pelletiere embraces her Napoli heritage by inviting you to a special event of hands-on pasta making followed by a 5-course meal perfectly paired with our favorite Italian varieties from the property.

Awaken all your senses to the sounds of cracked eggs and cracked pepper, sizzling olive oil, the smell of sliced onion and chopped garlic, and of course, the soft feeling of pasta dough between your fingers. Be transported home to Nonna’s kitchen while still experiencing the beautiful countryside of Paso Robles.

Cook side-by-side with chef and author Brigit Binns, as she shares her wealth of culinary knowledge and guides you through the essential techniques of sophisticated pasta creations and wine pairings. You will learn how to make three different pasta dishes to recreate at home.

Following the intimate kitchen experience it is time to wine and dine! Enjoy and savor your culinary delights as all Italians would, with a delicious glass of red wine. In this case, where Paso meets Italy, Pelletiere Estate wines.

Pasta dishes & Wine pairings include:

Linguini Carbonara with Alle-Pia Guanciale | 2020 Estate Montepulciano

Fettuccine with Italian cherry tomatoes, mortadella, Meyer lemon, arugula | 2018 Estate Sangiovese

Penne Rigate with duck sausage, fennel, rosemary, and smoked mozzarella | 2019 Estate Nebbiolo

Complimenting the pasta dishes to complete the 5-course meal will be:

Wilted escarole salad with vanilla-bean vinaigrette

Sheep’s milk ice cream with olive oil & chocolate salt
