Wine Festival is here, May 15-18th in Paso Robles Wine Country!  There are several wineries doing big events, live music, food, wine specials and more all weekend starting that Thursday and going through the weekend.

Event Info:

Thursday May 15 – Winemaker Dinners at Il Cortile Ristorante and Thomas Hill Organics.  Two restaurants from our top 5 best in Paso Robles.  They will be pairing chef prepared meals with an exclusive wine tasting list and creating tantalizing new flavor combinations with local fresh fare.

Friday May 16 – Reserve Tasting and food pairing  from 4:00 – 6: 30 pm with an auction and exclusive wines to taste.

Saturday, May 16 – Winemaker Seminar from 10:30-11:30 am | Wine tasting in the Park from 1:00-4:00 pm unless you are a premium or reserve ticket holder which gets you in earlier per your ticket information. Enjoy talks in the morning from a group of winemakers talking in depth about the wines, the area and how it comes together.  Then venture into the park tasting for wine from about 60 different wineries, food booths and wine related merchants.

During this event there will be special happenings all over Paso Robles!  It will be hard to choose where to go first and where to end up so here are some suggestions to help you along:

SHALE OAK WINERY – Friday Shale Oak will host guests late so you can enjoy the music from William Paul all the way until 7 pm.  Then finish off the weekend with newly released wines, case specials, local cheeses and other nibbles as well as the beautiful scenic garden and water features.  Gold LEED certified.

SCULPTERRA – Saturday Sculpterra will be having a real Santa Maria style BBQ with all the fixin’s for only $25 pp / $15 for Wine Club Members while listening to live music from The Lady Crooners band from 12:00-4:00 pm.  Call for tickets and try all of their award winning wines while picnicking in their beautiful sculpture gardens!

AUGUST RIDGE – All weekend long August Ridge on the Creston trail will have antipasti plates available for wine pairing, case specials, peeks of their newly bottled wines, bocce on the lawn and fantastic Italian varietals to choose from!  Get your tickets for the Saturday Blending Party and blend, bottle, label and cork your very own wine!  A blind tasting will choose the winner and you will finish off the night with a five-course exquisite Italian dinner!  Space is limited so Call for reservations!  $180 per couple.

AUGUST RIDGE INFO

HARMONY CELLARS – Friday  get your reservations for a Hawaiian Feast with hula dancers, traditional Hawaiian fare with wine pairing.  Arrive in your Hawaiian attire and be well rewarded!  Starts at 6:30 pm and is $75 per person / $68 for Wine Club Members!  –  Sunday enjoy Hawaiian inspired music by Nataly Lola, Kalua Pork and ribs by Higgie’s BBQ and wine of course!  No Reservation required, starts at 12:00 – 3:00 pm.

HALTER RANCH – All weekend long Halter Ranch will have wine and cave tours available by reservation at 11 am and 1 pm.  Enjoy their sustainably produced wine with appetizers from local fare and olive oils from Robbin Family Farms.  $10/pp or Complimentary for Wine Club Members.

LONE MADRONE – Sunday there will by live music and Chef Jeffrey Scott’s famous gourmet burgers from 12:00-4:00 pm.  Selection will by oak-grilled lamb, original gourmet or Portobello Mushroom burgers to pair perfectly with your wine or Bristols hard cider.
