Join us Monday, September 18 at 7:30pm inside Eleven Twenty Two where you will learn about and taste the four Italian ‘Mother’ cocktails along with the excellent spirits that they are made from. The evening will be hosted by Italian vermouth & spirit expert Jessica Garver from Oliver McCrum Wine & Spirits.
During this special evening you will be greeted with an Italian Sbagliato spritz cocktail, then Jessica will pass around the roots, bark and herbs that go into making the Italy’s famous spirits and vermouth. During this interactive portion of the evening Jessica’s will be describing the difference between the spirits and different types of vermouth as you sample them. After learning all about the classic Italian spirits & vermouth you will be treated to a tasting flight of the other three Italian Mother Cocktails, the Americano, the Milano-Torino and the Negroni. As you sip and enjoy your cocktails, Jessica will lead you through the history of each of these and describe how they impacted the future of the cocktail culture.
