 per person: $350\n\nJoin us for the WSET Level 1 one day Foundation course
  at CASS Winery in Paso Robles\, CA. This hands-on course teaches students
  through sight\, smell\, and taste\, to understand more about wine. By the
  end of the course\, you’ll be able to taste wine using a systematic app
 roach to tasting and be able to identify the main styles of wine. You’ll
  also learn the key principles of food and wine pairing and be able to app
 ly these to your own food and wine choices. This class provides a basic in
 troduction to the main styles of wines available today. Level 1 is ideal f
 or those who want to learn more for either personal knowledge\, to boost w
 ine confidence for hospitality\, improve your current position in the wine
  industry\, those who are thinking of changing careers\, or just want to l
 earn about one of their favorite beverage.\n\nThe course includes: course 
 materials\, classroom instruction with wines for tasting\, exam fee\, cert
 ificate and lunch.\n\nTo obtain the WSET Level 1 Award Certificate in Wine
 \, you will need to successfully pass an in- person exam that is made up o
 f 30 multiple-choice questions. Successful students will receive a WSET ce
 rtificate and lapel pin.\n\nABOUT WSET\nThe Wine and Spirit Education Trus

 for a wine distributor as a sales representative in Santa Barbara. She is 
 also a certified wine educator and teaches Central Coast WSET classes for 
 the Napa Valley Wine Academy\, which is the largest provider of WSET cours
 es in the world outside of their home base of London and winner of the WSE
 T prestigious Educator of the Year award twice\, 2016\, and 2019.
